YES, we understand that sometimes things happen that change your availability. Students can reschedule at no additional charge when we are notified by text (360) 399-6429 or email contact@tiojorge.com at least 24 hours before the class. with what new date you want to reschedule to any date in our online calendar.
It is perfectly fine to take the class before you start your divorce proceedings. Actually, the sooner co-parents take this online class, the better for the children and the family system.
You can later manually fill in the missing fields.
Yes, a very simple 5 questions assessment is done at the end. A passing grade is required to release the certificate.
Students can retake the assessment with no penalty.
The certificates are emailed individually at the end of the class after the assessment is completed.
The class is participatory and stimulating. Although your participation is expected like in any other class setting. We accept and understand that the mic and camera might not be "ON" at all times.
In general, courthouse facilitators provide assistance to clients who are not represented by attorneys.
Students will provide the certificate to the court, or their lawyers. They can also file it with the court clerk
We encourage every parent to take on this opportunity. Previous classes usually do not comply with the court. In our real-time classes, participants have the unique opportunity to talk and learn about what is most important to them. Training is essential to do a good job, in the workplace and in parenting and co-parenting. We are sorry this class has to be a requirement, but how else can we bring it to co-parents during this difficult and crucial stage of their lives?
Per Snohomish County local rule 94.04(d)(4), and other similar rules in other counties, all parties requiring a parenting seminar to enter their parenting plan should attend and file a certificate of attendance with the court. Exemptions or waivers may be sought per this rule.
Yes, other people at home can take it for FREE. We believe that this class is extremely useful to every adult in the house. There is no additional charge for other family members to participate in the same class as you. Only if they need a certificate, they will need to register and pay for the class.
No worries, the class can be taken from ANY device with WIFI. most people attend the Zoom class from their smartphones. In cases where there audio is poor, the audio connection can be done over any phone. If no WIFI connection is available, the class can be taken over the phone line but no video will be shown.
